A Special Note to Ladies
My name is Marie Bain. As you might guess from the last name, I am Mike's wife.
I know that you may feel somewhat uncomfortable with the idea of contacting a man you don't know and then
going to his residence. With the way the world is today, I don't blame you. But I want you to feel assured that
our home is a safe place and that Mike is a man of integrity and honor.
While I won't go into it here, I know what it's like to be a victim. I know the anger, the fear, and the feeling of
violation. If you want to know the details, I'll discuss them with you. Just give me a call.
Mike's classroom and our offices are in dedicated rooms next to each other on the bottom level of our house.
While I often work/teach from home, I cannot guarantee that I will be there for your class if it's specifically with
Mike. But please know that your safety and security are of the utmost importance to both of us.
Mike was the leader of the Ladies League at Cherokee Gun Club in Gainesville, Georgia for three years. He has
helped many women improve their firearm and defensive skills. And believe me, there is nothing more
empowering than knowing you can take care of yourself if you have to.
I am an NRA Training Counselor and instruct most of the NRA Basic/Instructor courses, all of the FIRST Step
classes, and the Refuse to be a Victim® program. I also teach some of our Emergency Prep & Homesteading
classes. If you would prefer me to teach your class, let us know and we'll do what we can to make that happen.
If you're still uncomfortable, you might consider getting a couple of girlfriends to take a class with you. Or your
significant other. You might consider a double-date. We do offer Group Discounts. A group is two or more. And
isn't it more fun when you're learning with your friends?
If you would like to speak with me personally, please call me at 678-283-2504. It's Mike's phone, but I usually
answer it, lol. Or you may send a message on our Contact Page or email me at
Come see us.
I look forward to meeting you (and your friends).
All the best,
