November 4-6, 2016 was the annual Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) Conference, held at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center in Mansfield, GA.
Mike & I took a break from the shooting this year and helped Ashley out with the Outdoor Cooking class.
We also had a Water-bath Canning class where we made unsweetened applesauce & Ball's Chocolate Cherry Jam. Ashley was kind enough to help us out!
On Saturday evening, we had an outdoor expo. Mike showed the ladies what they might want to consider for their Bug-Out-Bags. Marie showed off a selection of items dehydrated along with the Nesco Dehydrators she is using.
We are proud to announce our partnership with Nesco ® American Harvest ® dehydrators. They have been kind and donated 3 different dehydrators for use in our classes & volunteer work.

The GA Department of Natural Resources held their annual Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) conference on November 7-9,
2014. Events included Tree Climbing, Outdoor Cooking, Fly Fishing, Archery, Birding, Natural Photography, Wilderness Survival,
Gun Cleaning, Reading Wildlife Signs, & Basic Astronomy, among others.
Mike & Marie led a combination pressure & water-bath canning class. We had six ladies in the class. They got to take home items
they helped make themselves.
